Cookie and storage notice

This notice describes cookies and similar browser storage used by Giveamenu’s marketing site, merchant admin, and restaurant storefronts.

Your controls

Necessary storage supports security and requested functions. Optional categories are off until you choose them. Accept optional and Reject optional are presented with equal prominence. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using Privacy & cookie settings.

Necessary

Necessary cookies and storage keep sessions secure, remember authentication, protect forms, maintain baskets and ordering state, prevent abuse, route requests, and remember your privacy choice. The service cannot provide those requested functions without them.

Preferences

Preference storage can remember optional presentation choices. On restaurant storefronts, accepting preferences may allow a configured Google font to load. A Google map remains click-to-load so merely opening a page does not contact Google Maps.

Analytics

When accepted, Giveamenu may record limited first-party storefront page and search events to help a restaurant understand use of its site and compare seasonal performance. These records do not contain the visitor’s raw IP address, user agent, or full referrer and are deleted after 400 days. Google Tag Manager and third-party analytics are disabled unless they are separately inventoried, disclosed, and consent-gated.

Marketing

Marketing storage is not enabled by default. If advertising or campaign tags are introduced, they must remain blocked until marketing consent is given and the provider and purpose are added to this notice.

Choice duration

The privacy-choice cookie lasts for up to 180 days. Giveamenu keeps the corresponding pseudonymous consent record for up to 400 days to demonstrate and apply the choice. Clearing browser storage may cause the controls to be shown again.

Third-party links

Following a link to Google Maps, a social network, a payment provider, or another external service takes you to that provider. Its own privacy and cookie terms apply after you choose to visit it.
